My history fo being a youth delegate, when i heard about exchange program between Rwanda Red Cross and Norwegian Red Cross it was in 2007 and i was feeling that maybe i should become a youth delegate because i have been a volunteer in Red Cross since 1996 up today doing different activities with other members like fist aid, guide refugies, community work, visiting the patient, build the shelter forthe orphans, 8 may campaign, strenght the High school commiteesmoral boosta .... and was in Gasabo Red Cross Comitee so all of that activities was giving confidence into me that i can try my best and i was so interested about that. one morning went to Rwanda red Cross headquarter to ask about clarifications for that program when i reached there i met Paul Bizimana who is a a youth coordinator and staff in RRC so he encourage me to apply and alot of young people was comming to apply for that program so i din't pass for that time and i never lost hope so stay ther being active in volunteerism activities and this year i passed with Kenneth, so the questions was asking my self are here: How i am going to work with the Red Cross youth in Norway?, how i will exchange my experience with them? and what kind of knowledge may i have to bring back in my home country? and i take a decision to do whatever i can to strenght the local branches, to get more new members and to attend the goal and i learly beleive that we are Agents for Change!
finally i am in a good place in Akershus Red Cross nice the weather is super so i am here as a youth delegate in Norway from Rwanda and i wish to learn more and to exchange experience with youth and need to work together with Red cross Board and to assist Youth local branches in Norway especialy in Akershus district.
let us work together to alleviate human suffering country wide through mobilising and supporting the communities for the purpose!
